A playful twist on the Filipino noodle shop, with an emphasis on Southern Tagalog cuisine. While the provenance of these recipes are from the other side of the world, the food is prepared using only the best and freshest seasonal ingredients. Composed of nostalgic short order dishes and rice bowls or “silogs”— these are not your Lola’s (grandma) traditional recipes, but, as Chef Maynard likes to say, “Filipino food done my way.”

Salo-salo- the Tagalog word meaning banquet or feast. Filipinos also enjoy what we call “Kamayan feast”, a communal-style buffet of delicious Filipino food typically consumed using bare hands. Preparing, cooking and eating the food together is part of the kamayan tradition.

Filipinos love nothing more than a good salo-salo or kamayan where family and friends gather together to enjoy a sumptuous meal. Kuya Lord offers festive Filipino dishes ideal for every occasion, currently available only for pre-order and pick-up.

KUYA LORD is an elevated fast casual restaurant concept with communal tables in a small dining area. First come first serve only. we only take reservations for dinner for party of 6 or more, but will be provided a family-style prix fixe menu, with 7 days of advance notice. For catering events, we require 7-10 days of advance notice. please email us for further inquiries.
